Commentary for II Chronicles 11:11

וַיְחַזֵּ֖ק אֶת־הַמְּצֻר֑וֹת וַיִּתֵּ֤ן בָּהֶם֙ נְגִידִ֔ים וְאֹצְר֥וֹת מַאֲכָ֖ל וְשֶׁ֥מֶן וָיָֽיִן׃

And he fortified the strongholds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and oil and wine.

leaders chiefs and officers to guard the towns and the large cities.
